1. Paraphrase

This is the most straightforward approach, where you restate the main points of an article using your own words. It’s a good way to summarise, but you need to ensure that your own words don’t stray too far from the original article.

2. Write a summary in bullet point form

This is similar to paraphrasing, except you will use a different bullet point for each point. This can be useful because you can use bullet points to make the paragraph more readable, and you don’t run the risk of using too many of your own words.

3. Summarise the main points with a table

If you’re working in a business environment and need to summarise an article for a meeting or presentation, it can be helpful to use an impactful table. This strategy is helpful because it avoids plagiarism and makes the main points easy to remember.

4. Use a critical point summary
